Creating “A Long story” Image Manipulation in Adobe Photoshop
Creating A Long Story Sad character photo composition in Photoshop had much fun. Selection of right photo in this step is one of the man and important step, but on the other hand this is more impotent to chop these photos in-order to bring a realistic way . In this tutorial we will show you how to do this using the suitable light balance, use of mid tones, and depth of field, blending, and more. Let’s get started!
Now, let’s start by creating a new image file, go to the Menu bar and click File > New, and then input the following values on their respective fields:
- Preset: Custom
- Width:1200 pixels
- Height: 1400 pixels
- Resolution: 300 pixels/inch
- Color Mode: RGB Color; 8 bit
- Background Contents: white
Open up the background image from deviontart and import it into canvas document which we create in first step select the move tool form toolbar and simply drag the background around the canvas and resize it as shown image.

Create duplicate layer of Model stock image and rename it as Topaz and then apply some effect by using Topaz lab. If you don’t have Topaz lab plug-in so download Topaz lab and install Topaz lab plug-in . Go to > Filter > Topaz lab > Topaz Detail its open new popup as shown below and chose Bold Detail no any changes just click ok.

In this step create a duplicate layer of model stock image layer and then rename it as Gaussian blur and then apply Gaussian blur to it. Go to > Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, radius 10 pixel and change blending mode as linear dodge.
After changing Blending mode as linear dodge we get the image below.
Open up the Grass texture image from publicdomainpictures. Chose the marquee tool from toolbar set Feather 10 pixel and make selection then select the move tool form toolbar and simply drag the grass texture around the canvas and resize it and place it to below model stock image as shown below image.
Here we add layer mask on model stock image layer (which we rename as Topaz), select model stock image and Click the Add Layer Mask button at the bottom of the Layers palette. Chose Spatter brush and set foreground color black and then start draw where your want show grass.
Here we also add PNG grass image on canvas as show below.
Open up the dead tree png image from deviontart and import it into canvas. Select the move tool form toolbar and simply drag the model stock around the canvas and resize it as shown image.
Now create new layer bottom of all layers and chose cloud brush. If you don’t install cloud brush so click on the link Cloud Brush Pack and load this brush set.
Now create new layer and set name is Fog and chose basic soft Adobe brush with high pixel and with white color then draw one point center of the canvas and change blending mode as Overlay.
